The Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife has a 4-inch satin 4116 stainless blade at 8.5 inches overall, a black polypropylene handle, a lanyard hole and a black Secure-Ex belt sheath.

The Canadian belt knife is a pattern from D.H. Russell, a Nova Scotia design with a leaf-shaped blade whose widest point sits well forward of the handle. That puts belly where a skinner needs it while keeping a fine tip for detail work. It has been the standard Canadian hunting pattern since the 1950s and Cold Steel's version keeps the geometry at a fraction of the original's price.

4116 is a German stainless used widely in commercial kitchens, chosen for corrosion resistance and easy resharpening rather than maximum edge holding, which suits work on wet game.     Definitely recommended!

    Love the price especially the price at first glance it looks cheaply made which are probably is panels off plastic but it came razor sharp I mean it can't raise a sharp the sheet is plastic and it's got a plastic clip on it believe it or not it works onto your belt very tight hard to get off I mean I rarely give five stars on a knife that I paid under $20 for but this is exception looks cheap too but I'm still enjoying it crazy nice Canadian belt knife 420 would recommend to someone for their first Canadian belt knife
