Description

The Cold Steel Finn Bear has a 4-inch satin German 4116 stainless hollow ground clip point blade at 8.5 inches overall, a black polypropylene handle and a black Cor-Ex belt sheath.

A hollow grind cuts a concave bevel into the blade, leaving the edge very thin behind the cutting surface. That makes it slice extremely well and take a keen edge quickly, at the cost of less steel behind the edge for heavy work. On a skinning and utility knife that trade favors the hollow grind, and it dominates hunting blades for that reason.
