The Pendleton is a Lloyd Pendleton design, and the Lite version keeps his blade geometry while dropping the price by using polypropylene instead of the original's more expensive handle. 4116 is a German stainless used widely in commercial kitchens, chosen for corrosion resistance and easy resharpening rather than maximum edge holding, which suits a knife used on wet game and touched up often.
