Description

The CJRB Doubletap has a 3.88-inch black PVD coated D2 tool steel drop point blade, a desert tan G10 handle with an orange G10 backspacer, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 5.25 inches on the Recoil Lock.

The Recoil Lock is CJRB's crossbar mechanism, a spring-loaded bar released from either side, so the knife works the same in either hand and closes without fingers crossing the blade path. The orange backspacer is the strip of G10 running along the spine between the scales, and setting it against desert tan is a deliberate contrast rather than a structural choice.

D2 holds a working edge far longer than budget stainless, and PVD is bonded into the steel surface rather than painted on, so it resists wear better than a coating that sits on top.
