Description

The CJRB Doubletap has a 3.88-inch black PVD coated D2 tool steel drop point blade, a black G10 handle with an orange G10 backspacer, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 5.25 inches on the Recoil Lock.

This is the all-black Doubletap, where the desert tan version breaks up the color. Black scales against a black PVD blade make the orange backspacer the only thing that reads at a distance. PVD is vapor-deposited and bonded into the steel surface rather than painted on, so it resists wear far better than a coating that sits on top and can flake at the edge.

The Recoil Lock is a crossbar released from either side, so the knife works the same in either hand and closes without fingers crossing the blade path. D2 holds a working edge far longer than budget stainless, and at 5.25 inches closed the Doubletap fills a hand rather than perching in the fingers. Explore more Folding Knives.
