Blue Sea 8402 DC 10 Position Panel with Multi-Meter

The Blue Sea Systems 8402 is a 10-position DC panel with a multi-function meter, running 12 or 24V at up to 100A.

Ten circuits with full metering suits a boat where the DC list is short but the systems still deserve watching, such as a cruising sailboat or a center console with a real electronics package. It is the smallest panel in this family that still includes a proper meter rather than leaving the owner to add a gauge separately.

One meter reads more than one value and its toggle switch swings across up to three battery banks, so house, start and a thruster or windlass bank are all checkable from one spot. Panels supplied with analog meters can be moved to 24 volts later using the 8240 or 8243 units, which keeps the panel through a repower rather than replacing it.

Positive, negative and grounding buses are installed and the panel ships fully pre-wired. Circuit labels are backlit as standard with ON indicating LEDs throughout, and the body is 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum over MIL-C-5541C immersion undercoating in industry standard dimensions.
