Blue Sea 8403 DC 13 Position Panel with Multimeter

The Blue Sea Systems 8403 is a 13-position DC panel with an 8248 digital multimeter and alarm, running 12 or 24V at up to 100A.

Thirteen positions is the practical middle of the range: enough to keep important systems separated without the panel taking over a bulkhead. Ten 15A single-pole breakers come installed, leaving three positions for whatever gets added later.

The digital meter shows voltage and current as numbers rather than a needle position, and the alarm flags a bank drifting out of range before something downstream starts misbehaving. That warning is the real value. A bank going low usually announces itself through equipment behaving oddly, which is a slow way to find out.

A toggle switch covers up to three banks, suiting a house and start arrangement with a thruster or windlass bank added. Buses are pre-wired, labels backlit as standard, and every position has an ON indicating LED.
