Blue Sea 8385 DC 8 Position Horizontal Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 8385 is an 8-position DC panel in horizontal layout, running 12 or 24 volts at up to 100A.

Eight circuits suits a small cruiser or a well-equipped runabout, and the horizontal shape drops into shallow console space where a tall panel would not fit. It is the smaller end of this panel family, which runs up to 22 positions in the same construction and finish.

Metered versions include a toggle switch covering up to three battery banks, and analog meters can be upgraded to 24 volts later using the 8240 or 8243 units. That keeps the panel through a repower rather than replacing it when the boat changes system voltage.

All positive, negative and grounding buses are installed and the panel ships pre-wired, with backlit labels as standard and ON indicating LEDs in every position. The body is 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum under two-part polyurethane over MIL-C-5541C immersion undercoating, with a cutout template, instructions and 30 large format labels.
