Blue Sea 1450 DC 8 Position CLB Breaker Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 1450 is an 8-position DC panel in the CLB square format, fitting eight circuits into a 4.75 by 4.88 inch face.

Eight 7056 push button reset-only breakers rated 15 amps do the protecting, and reset-only is the specification that decides whether this suits a boat. There is no switching function. These are protection that can be reset after a fault, not on-off controls, so anything needing to be switched needs a switch elsewhere.

That makes it a good fit for always-live circuits and for loads switched at the equipment itself rather than at the panel. It also allows eight circuits in a face under five inches square, which a panel with switching hardware could not manage.
