Blue Sea 8365 AC 65A Rotary Switch Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 8365 is an AC rotary switch panel rated 65A on 120V AC, selecting between two sources with a two-pole switch.

Red reverse-polarity and green power-available indicators are what this panel adds over a bare rotary switch. Both source availability and incoming wiring condition can be confirmed before transferring power, rather than switching first and finding out afterward.

That matters most when arriving at an unfamiliar dock, where the pedestal may be miswired and the reverse polarity lamp is the only warning available. The two-source plus Off configuration gives a positive break between sources rather than switching live to live.

It is a source-selector panel rather than a circuit-protection panel, so main breakers and other protective devices must be installed elsewhere in the AC system.
