Description

The Blue Sea Systems 9011 is a two-pole AC rotary selector switch rated 65A, UL listed to 600V AC, selecting between two 120V or 230V sources.

Two poles is the difference between this and the three-pole 9077, and it decides which installations it suits. A two-pole selector switches the line and neutral of a single-phase 120V or 230V supply. It is not the right choice for 120/240V split-phase service, where a third pole is needed.

Two source positions plus Off give a positive mechanical break and a clear physical indication of which source is connected. That visible position matters on a system where an automatic transfer switch would leave the operator guessing.

It mounts through relatively thin panels, which suits compact installations where a full selector panel would not fit. As a selector rather than a breaker, over-current, leakage and source protection must be incorporated elsewhere in the installation. Explore more marine electrical switches.

  • Two poles, against three on the 9077
  • For single-phase 120V or 230V, not split-phase
  • Two sources plus a positive Off
  • 65A, UL listed to 600V AC
