Description

The Blue Sea Systems 8053 is a 6-position switch panel in a vertical layout for 12V or 24V systems, with Contura switches and AGC/MDL fuse holders.

This is built for flybridges, open cockpits and other above-deck positions where salt spray, rain, hose washdowns and brief water contact are part of normal use. A watertight mounting gasket seals the panel opening, and countersunk mounting holes give a clean finished installation.

One thing to know before ordering: the waterproof panel labels are not backlit. On a helm used after dark that means a light is needed to read them, where the backlit interior panels stay legible on their own. It is the trade for the sealing.

Each circuit uses a Contura On/Off switch with an embedded On-indicator LED and a panel-mount AGC/MDL fuse holder for individual protection. A two-part polyurethane slate-gray finish over a Mil-Spec chemical treatment applied by immersion protects the surfaces, and the panel arrives completely wired. Explore more marine switch panels.

  • Built for flybridge and open cockpit exposure
  • The waterproof labels are not backlit
  • A light is needed to read them after dark
  • Contura switches with embedded indicator LEDs
