Description

The Blue Sea 7251 is a 50A double pole C-Series toggle circuit breaker in white, with a 5,000 ampere interrupt capacity.

Fifty amps matches the most common shore power service on a cruising boat, which makes this the default main breaker for a 120 volt AC panel fed from a single 50A inlet. The 5,000 ampere interrupt capacity is what ABYC requires for that duty, and it describes the fault current the breaker can safely break rather than its normal working load.

Used double pole it switches hot to neutral, isolating the panel completely rather than leaving a live neutral behind. Where a boat draws more than a single 50A service, the 100A version of the same breaker covers it without changing panel style. Explore more marine circuit breakers.

  • 50A, matching the common shore power service
  • 5,000A interrupt capacity, ABYC compliant
  • Switches hot to neutral for full isolation
  • The standard main breaker for a 120V AC panel
