Blue Sea 3131 Surface Mount Breaker Enclosure

The Blue Sea Systems 3131 Surface Mount Circuit Breaker Enclosure is a finished box for one or two compatible single or double pole breakers, with wire glands included.

This puts a breaker where there is no panel to recess it into, which is the situation in most engine spaces and lockers. The alternative is a breaker screwed to a bulkhead with its terminals exposed, and that is neither tidy nor safe in a space where gear moves around.

It accepts Blue Sea A-Series toggle breakers along with A-Series and C-Series flat rocker breakers, so the style and rating are chosen to suit the circuit. It also takes optional On-indicator LEDs and square-format circuit labels for a finished result rather than an improvised one.

The enclosure does not include a breaker, so the protective device is selected separately according to system voltage, conductor size and connected load.
