Blue Sea 3120 SMS Panel Enclosure - 240V ELCI Main

The Blue Sea Systems 3120 SMS enclosure has a 50A ELCI main and two blank positions on 240V AC.

Two hundred and forty volt split-phase service runs both legs through the single main, which is what this enclosure is arranged for. Indication is simpler as a result. Two green ON LEDs and no reverse polarity lamp, because polarity indication does not work the same way on a split-phase feed as it does on 120V.

Anyone expecting a reverse polarity warning here should know it is absent by design rather than omitted. Both blank positions take Carling Technologies A and C Series flat rocker and ELCI main breakers for adding circuits later.

The enclosure is glass filled polycarbonate with an overlapping clear cover on an oversized polyurethane gasket formed in place. The stainless hinge pin lifts out and the latch secures the cover without penetrating the wall. Five waterproof glands, labels, hardware and the manual are included.
