The BEP Marine Wireless Remote Control Kit operates 701-MD and 720-MDO motorized switches from up to around 250 feet, supplied with one receiver and two remotes.

The receiver controls up to four separate 5A circuits, so it does more than battery switching. Anchor lights, navigation lights and courtesy lights can run from the same handheld remote. That makes it worth fitting even where the battery switch alone would not justify it.

Range of roughly 250 feet under good conditions means the switch works from the dock as well as aboard, which is the practical use for most owners. Turning the batteries on before stepping aboard, or off from the pontoon after leaving, removes a trip into the battery compartment each time.
