Description

The Balmar AltMount Serpentine Pulley Conversion Kit converts Perkins/Sabre 4107 and 4108 diesels to a K6 six-groove serpentine drive.

Six grooves rather than ten is the specification here, matched to what the Perkins drive geometry allows. The Lehman conversion uses J10, so the two kits are not interchangeable even though both convert V-belt engines to serpentine.

Three K6 pulleys are included so the engine's drive components convert as a matched set. Converting the alternator alone would leave it driven by a crankshaft pulley cut for V-belts, which is not something a serpentine belt will run on.
