Description

The Ancor 4 AWG Heavy-Duty Lugs are a 100-pack in annealed tinned copper with a seamless barrel, for 3/8-inch studs.

Three-eighths is the larger stud size in 4 AWG, and it appears on inverters, larger switches and main distribution hardware. Most 4 AWG terminations land on 5/16 studs, so this pack covers the exceptions. A boat with both sizes needs some of each rather than one throughout.

Checking the actual stud before ordering a hundred lugs takes a moment and saves a delivery that fits nothing. Manufacturers do not standardize on this, and two pieces of equipment beside each other can use different sizes.

Heavy-duty annealed tinned copper supports strong current flow while resisting corrosion from salt and moisture. The seamless barrel keeps its strength once properly crimped, and the closed-end construction keeps moisture out of the joint. Explore more battery lugs and ring terminals.

  • 3/8 stud, the larger of the two 4 AWG sizes
  • Most 4 AWG terminations land on 5/16
  • Manufacturers do not standardize on this
  • Two units side by side can differ
