Viega MegaPress 316 2-Inch FKM FPT Stainless Adapter

The Viega MegaPress 316 2-Inch FKM FPT Stainless Adapter is a MegaPress 316 fitting for joining compatible stainless steel piping in marine and other demanding fluid systems. It gives a mechanically pressed connection that avoids hot work while supporting clean, repeatable installation in machinery spaces and other areas where access can be limited.

MegaPress 316 fittings are designed for Schedule 5 through Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe and use corrosion-resistant 316 stainless construction. FKM sealing elements, grip rings, and separator rings work together inside the press connection to create a secure joint when installed with approved preparation and pressing procedures.

Confirm pipe outside diameter, schedule, fitting geometry, sealing-element compatibility, system media, pressure and temperature requirements, and approved press-tool compatibility before installation. Cut and deburr pipe correctly, mark insertion depth, keep sealing surfaces clean, complete each press according to Viega instructions, and inspect and test the finished system before service.
