The Viega MegaPress 316 1-Inch FKM 45-Degree Street Elbow combines a 45 degree turn with a street end, in 1 inch 316 stainless.
Because one end goes straight into another fitting, this handles a gentle change of direction in tight quarters where an elbow plus a nipple would not physically fit. It is a press connection, made with a pressing tool rather than threading or brazing, so there is no open flame and no cutting threads in place. Suits Schedule 5 through Schedule 40 stainless pipe. Sealing is by FKM element with a grip ring and separator ring. Compare with our other marine pipe fittings.
