Description

The Viega MegaPress 316 Street Elbow turns 1/2 inch pipe through 45 degrees, with one press end and one spigot end.

This is the smallest and tightest offset fitting in the range, combining a spigot end with a gentle turn at the smallest diameter MegaPress makes. Two of them produce an offset measured in an inch or two, which is what a fixture connection often needs when the pipe and the valve are not aligned.

Getting that alignment without a street fitting means a short pipe nipple and an extra joint, in a space that rarely has room for either. It works on Schedule 5 through Schedule 40 stainless pipe, with the FKM element rated for fuel and oil as well as water. Explore more marine pipe and fittings.

  • The tightest offset fitting in the range
  • Two of them offset a line by an inch or two
  • Avoids a pipe nipple and an extra joint
  • 1/2 inch, with a 45 degree turn
