The Viega MegaPress 316 Elbow turns 1/2 inch pipe through 45 degrees, in 316 stainless with FKM sealing elements.
At half inch a forty-five degree elbow is mostly used to align a branch with a fitting that is not quite square to the run, which happens constantly on a boat where nothing is truly parallel. A pair of them takes a line across and back with far less disruption than two right angles.
