Victron VM-3P75CT Single & 3-Phase Energy Meter

The Victron VM-3P75CT Energy Meter measures single or three-phase AC using three 75A split-core current transformers, reporting over VE.Can or Ethernet.

Split-core current transformers clip around existing conductors without disconnecting or rerouting the AC wiring. That is the difference between a meter installed in an afternoon and one requiring the main AC feed to be broken, which on a live system means shutting the boat down.

Each current channel is rated for 75A, so the conductors being measured have to fall within that. A larger service needs a different meter or higher-rated transformers, and exceeding the rating gives readings that are wrong rather than absent.
