The Victron MultiPlus Inverter/Charger (12V, 2000VA/80-150/120V, 80 Amp Battery Charger) combines an inverter and charger in one elegant package. It is designed for boaters who want a true sine wave inverter with adaptive charging and hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple system integration features. This is the Compact variant, in a smaller footprint, communicating over VE.Bus and UL approved.

PowerAssist prevents overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection, first reducing battery charging automatically and then boosting output with power taken from the battery. In the event of a grid failure, the inverter takes over supply to connected loads in under 20 milliseconds, keeping computers and electronics running without disruption, and up to 6 units can operate in parallel for higher power output.
