The Veratron EngineBox Double Engine extends the capability of Veratron's NavBox platform to twin-engine boats, translating engine data into NMEA 2000 so it can be shared across a boat's full instrument network, or it can be run stand-alone when navigation data isn't part of the setup.

With both an NMEA 2000 port and two J1939 CAN ports, the EngineBox bridges modern digital engine networks into a single NMEA 2000 stream. It also works on older, fully analog twin-engine setups thanks to its 2 RPM inputs, 8 resistive sensor inputs, 2 current-loop inputs, and 2 voltage inputs, covering the sensor types found on both engines without needing a second gateway. Configuration is handled through an intuitive, free PC tool, making input mapping straightforward even for complex twin-engine wiring.

Built to ISO 8846:1990 compliance, the EngineBox is rated for installation directly in the engine compartment, with an operating range of -40C to 85C to handle real engine-room heat. A status LED gives an at-a-glance confirmation the unit is running correctly, and the engine cable, cable harness, and safety instructions are included for installation.
