VDO Reed Switch 200MM Tank Depth Fuel Sender

The VDO 200mm Reed Switch Fuel Sender is built for a tank that accepts a 200mm vertical sensing body. Instead of measuring fuel level with a long arm swinging sideways, it uses a compact tubular arrangement. The result is a useful replacement format where tank geometry makes a pivoting arm inconvenient.

On a boat underway, fuel slosh can make conventional arm-type senders fluctuate. This sender uses the tube to moderate movement in the sensing area and support a steadier indication. Its reed-switch design also removes the exposed moving arm and resistance-card contact arrangement of older sender styles.

Stainless steel construction is paired with an ethanol-resistant Viton gasket. Installation uses the common SAE five-hole top flange, and a neoprene gasket and mounting hardware are supplied. Measure the usable tank depth and confirm the associated fuel gauge is compatible before fitting the 200mm sender.
