Uflex UC128 Version 1 Port Hydraulic Cylinder

The Uflex UC128 Version 1 Port cylinder has its link arm on the port side instead of starboard. It is the second cylinder in a twin-engine, dual-cylinder setup, paired with a standard starboard UC128 and joined with a tie bar. It shares the UC128 build, with a balanced front-mount design and 120 cc (7.3 cu. in.) of volume.

The rod, seals, and links are stainless steel, the connection uses a stainless ULTRABOLT, and the end caps are replaceable. Adjustable boss fittings take 3/8-inch hose. For twin engines Uflex rates the setup to 65 mph (56 knots), and it is not intended for racing. Twin-engine steering needs both cylinders, the tie bar, and the hoses to work together, so when replacing one side, match the existing setup exactly and replace worn hoses at the same time.

Order the starboard cylinder and the correct tie bar at the same time, and confirm the link arm position on your engines. After installation, bleed both cylinders, check that the engines track parallel at center and at both locks, and inspect every fitting under full steering pressure.
