Tecnoseal Volvo Penta 130S 150S Zinc Saildrive Anode

The Tecnoseal Volvo Penta Split Collar Anode fits Volvo Penta 130S and 150S saildrives. The split collar wraps around the saildrive leg. It absorbs corrosion before it reaches the saildrive's metal parts.

Zinc is the traditional choice for saltwater use, but it isn't suited to fresh water, where it can develop a coating that stops it from working. It weighs 3.15 lb (1.43 kg) and measures 5.55 inches long with a 4.33 inch outside diameter. Saildrives sit in the water full time, so their anode works constantly. The collar measures 1.57 inches high with a 2.98 inch inside dimension, and its stepped diameters are 1.81 and 3.54 inches.

Check the collar at every haul-out and replace it when it's about half gone. Clean the mounting surface to bare metal before installing so the anode makes good electrical contact.
