Tecnoseal Zinc Side-Power Thruster Anode 71190

The Tecnoseal Zinc Side-Power Thruster Anode replaces Sleipner part numbers 71190 and 51180. It fits Side-Power SP55S, SE60, SP75T, SE80, SP95T and SE100 models. It also fits the SR100, SX80, SX100, SH100, SP65S, HYD100 and 7 hp thrusters.

Zinc is the traditional choice for saltwater use, but it isn't suited to fresh water, where it can develop a coating that stops it from working. The mounting screw is not included. Thruster anodes protect the propeller and gear leg inside the tunnel.

Because the tunnel is out of sight, these anodes are easy to overlook. Check them at every haul-out. Other thruster anodes are in our marine anodes section.
