This TALOS Standard Lightning Detector with an 18x24-inch Safety Information Sign is built for community and residential swimming pools, letting swimmers see a lightning warning and know exactly how far away the storm actually is before it's too late to get out of the water.

Two power options cover different install preferences: a battery-operated version runs on 4 AA batteries for a quick setup, or a wired version plugs into any wall outlet through an included DC power supply, eliminating battery changes entirely. When mounting, the sign needs to sit at least 3 feet from any device emitting electrical noise to avoid false alerts, and it can go on any nonmetallic flat surface.
