The Takumitak Neuter has a 4.5-inch black oxide coated 3Cr13 stainless blade over a full extended tang at 9 inches overall, a black textured FRN handle, a lanyard hole and a spare set of coyote brown FRN scales.

A second set of scales in the box is unusual at any price. Swapping them changes the knife from black to coyote brown in a few minutes with a hex key, which is a real option rather than a gimmick. Black oxide grows out of the steel surface rather than sitting on top as paint would, so it cuts glare and slows rust without adding thickness that could flake.
