Standard Horizon RAM4 Wired Remote Access Microphone

The Standard Horizon RAM4 Wired Remote Access Microphone gives a full second control station for the GX1800, GX1800G, GX1850, GX1850G, GX2400, and GX6000 radios, putting complete control of the main unit at another spot aboard rather than requiring every call to happen at the primary helm.

Up to two RAM4 wired stations can run off one main radio, and an intercom function lets crew at different stations, wired or wireless RAM4W alike, talk to each other directly. This microphone also mirrors AIS targets on its own display and reaches the full DSC toolkit, contacting a specific vessel, calling a whole group, checking a position, and more, so nothing important is limited to the primary station only.

IPX8 submersible rating (1.5m for 30 minutes), with dial-style channel and volume adjustment and quick-access hot keys programmable to the settings used most. A 23' cable ships in the box, and the whole unit holds a 3-year waterproof warranty. Not backwards compatible with earlier Standard Horizon models.
