Description
The Standard Horizon 10W Amplified External Speaker - White, model MLS-410PA, is an amplified external speaker redesigned for clear, crisp radio reception. Its built-in amplifier pushes radio audio loud enough to hear over engine and wind noise at the helm or on the flybridge. It matches the impedance and output needs of most Standard Horizon transceivers.
Speaker impedance is 8 ohms. It comes with 6.5 ft (2 m) of speaker cable already attached. The compact, weather-resistant housing holds up in exposed spots on deck.
A mounting bracket and instruction manual are included, and the speaker is sold individually. Check that your radio model is listed as compatible before ordering, since newer radios may use a different speaker. Mount it near the helm so you can hear calls clearly without turning the main radio all the way up. Other radio accessories are in our communication accessories section.
