Standard Horizon 6-Unit Battery Multi Charger

The Standard Horizon 6-Unit Battery Multi Charger, model SAD-1460, is a rugged gang charger for Yaesu lithium-ion radio battery packs. It charges several packs at once from one station, so you are not hunting for outlets and single chargers. That makes it a good fit for workboats, dive operations, marinas, event crews and anyone running a fleet of handhelds.

Charging current is 1,000 mA, plus or minus 100 mA. Charge time runs from 1.5 to 3.5 hours depending on the battery pack. Set it up where packs can sit overnight or between shifts, and every radio starts the day full.

Use it indoors or in a sheltered spot within its rated temperature range, since lithium-ion batteries charge best when they are not too hot or cold. Check your exact battery pack model against Yaesu and Standard Horizon compatibility before ordering. Keeping one charger for all packs also cuts down on lost and mismatched chargers. Other radio accessories are in our communication accessories section.
