ProMariner ProSportHD 6 Gen 4 Battery Charger

The ProMariner ProSportHD 6 Gen 4 is a 6A single-bank five-stage charger, Marine UL 1236 certified with a three-year warranty.

Six amps on one bank is the smallest ProSportHD, and it is a maintainer rather than a recovery charger. It suits a single battery kept topped up rather than one run down and recharged overnight. For a small boat, a tender or a generator start battery that sees little use, more output would only be capacity that never gets called on.

The automatic five-stage program analyzes, charges, conditions, maintains and periodically reconditions the battery through storage, with selectable profiles for flooded, AGM and gel. Energy Saver logic applies maintenance charging only when the battery actually needs it rather than running continuously.

The tri-surface extruded heat sink cools across three faces, holding true-rated output in a lighter housing than an epoxy-filled charger.
