Spyderco Para Military 2 Cobalt Blue G10 Folding Knife

The Spyderco Para Military 2 Cobalt Blue G-10 (C81GPCBL2) has a satin 3.45-inch CPM SPY27 blade and a cobalt blue G-10 handle. SPY27 is a powder steel made by Crucible for Spyderco, released in limited runs that are usually paired with blue handles. It is built in Golden, Colorado. Open, it measures about 8.3 inches.

SPY27 is tuned for a good balance of toughness, edge holding, and corrosion resistance. The full flat grind keeps the blade thin behind the edge, which makes slicing easy. Cobalt blue G-10 is grippy, tough, and immune to water and sweat. A deep finger choil and spine jimping give secure control for detail cuts.

The Compression Lock in the spine releases with a press of the tab, keeping your fingers clear of the edge. The four-position clip lets you set up carry the way you like. Because SPY27 runs are limited, this version may not be restocked once it sells out. It is a good upgrade for someone who already owns a Para Military 2 and wants a different steel.
