Spyderco Para 3 Dark Blue G-10 Folding Knife

The Spyderco Para 3 Dark Blue G-10 (C223GPCBL) has a 2.92-inch CPM SPY27 blade and a dark blue G-10 handle. SPY27 is a powder steel made by Crucible for Spyderco, typically released in limited runs with blue handles. It is built in Golden, Colorado, like the rest of the Para 3 line. It opens to a bit over 7 inches.

SPY27 is formulated for a balance of toughness, edge holding, and stain resistance that suits an everyday carry knife. The full flat ground blade is thin behind the edge for clean slicing, and the finger choil lets you choke up for small jobs. Dark blue G-10 has a textured surface and holds up well to water, sweat, and sunscreen.

The Para 3 is the compact version of the Para Military 2, with the same Compression Lock in the spine. Pressing the lock tab closes the blade without putting your fingers in its path.
