The Spyderco Honeybee Black G10 Slipjoint (C137GBKP) has a 1.68-inch drop point blade and measures 3.72 inches open. It is a step up in size from the Bug while still small enough to vanish on a key ring. The blade is Sandvik 12C27 stainless with a satin finish and a plain edge.
Black G10 is a fiberglass and resin laminate that is tough, light, and unaffected by water or sweat. On a knife this small, the textured G10 gives your fingers more to hold than a smooth metal handle. The slipjoint spring holds the blade in place without a lock, so it is meant for light, controlled cuts.
A lanyard hole lets you hang it from keys, a zipper pull, or a breakaway cord. It is a handy backup knife for fishing line, zip ties, food packaging, and boxes. Sandvik 12C27 sharpens quickly on a ceramic rod, which suits a small blade that sees frequent touch-ups. Other colors and small pocket knives are in our traditional knives.
