SmartPlug 30A Stainless Steel Shore Power Inlet

The SmartPlug 30A stainless steel shore power inlet provides the boat-side connection for a compatible 125-volt SmartPlug cord. It includes the inlet and a protective stainless steel cover in one assembly. Instead of twisting the plug to engage it, the matching SmartPlug connector pushes straight in and locks with side clips. The stainless finish is suited to installations where a metal exterior is preferred.

SmartPlug uses a larger electrical contact area than traditional twist-lock designs to help reduce heat buildup at the connection. Gaskets within the mating components help protect the contacts from moisture when connected correctly. The inlet's mounting flange follows the common hole arrangement used by many older twist-lock inlets. That can make a replacement simpler, although the opening and screw locations should still be checked before installation.

This is a complete shore power inlet assembly, not just a replacement weather cover. It requires the matching SmartPlug connector and wiring appropriate for a 30A, 125V circuit.
