SmartPlug 50A 50 ft Dual Shore Power Cordset

The SmartPlug 50A shore power cordset connects a SmartPlug-equipped boat to a conventional twist-lock dockside receptacle. The boat end uses the SmartPlug connector, while the dock end uses a traditional twist-type plug. This orange cord is 50 feet long and rated for 50 amps at 125/250 volts. Its dual-ended arrangement is useful when the boat has been upgraded to SmartPlug but the marina still uses a twist-lock pedestal.

Side clips lock the SmartPlug connector into the inlet to help keep the connection secure as the cord moves. Silicone gaskets seal the mated connector against moisture when it is properly engaged. Power and reverse-polarity indicator lights on the SmartPlug end provide useful information at the connection. Tinned marine conductors are used in the cord to help resist corrosion.

Confirm the voltage, amperage, and connector type at both ends before connecting shore power. Route the cord where it will not be pinched, sharply bent, or left in standing water.
