Marinco 50-Amp Stainless Steel Shore Power Inlet

The Marinco 50-Amp Stainless Steel Shore Power Inlet is a 125/250V connection point with Easy Lock and nickel-plated brass blades.

This is the 125/250V split-phase inlet, and voltage is the specification to confirm before anything else. Marinco also makes a 50A 125V single-voltage inlet that looks very similar. Fitting the wrong one leaves a boat that cannot connect to the service it actually has.

Easy Lock engages a compatible cordset locking ring in less than a quarter turn, which makes a positive watertight connection without cross-threading. Cross-threading a shore power ring is a slow way to ruin an inlet, and it happens in the dark and the rain more often than in good conditions.

The threaded boss still accepts conventional threaded cordsets, so an existing cord does not have to be replaced alongside the inlet. Nickel-plated brass blades resist corrosion, the interior hardware is marine-grade stainless, and the cover stays open when lifted so the cord can be connected without fighting the lid.
