The Schrade Adder has a 3-inch satin AUS-10A stainless drop point blade with a full tang at 6.38 inches overall, a black rubberized synthetic handle, a lanyard hole and a black molded plastic belt sheath.

AUS-10A on a knife at this size and price is the reason to look. It has more carbon than the common AUS-8, holding an edge noticeably longer while still sharpening back without difficulty. At 6.38 inches overall the Adder is a small fixed blade, short enough to carry where a folder would normally go while removing the pivot entirely.
