Scanstrut DS40-S Stainless Vertical Cable Seal

The Scanstrut DS40-S Stainless Vertical Cable Seal takes cables from 12 to 15mm in a stainless dome housing, rated IP68.

Twelve to 15mm is the largest single-cable range Scanstrut makes in this style, for heavy coax and multi-core electronics cables. Radar and satellite cables live at this diameter, and a smaller gland simply will not close around them however hard it is tightened.

The stainless dome housing gives strong impact resistance, which matters on a fitting that sits proud of a deck. Plastic housings survive weather but not a dropped anchor or a boat hook, and the position these occupy is exposed by definition.
