Scandvik SS Recessed T-Handle Mixing Valve, White Cup

This Scandvik recessed mixing valve is the white cup version of the stainless T-handle mixer. It controls the hot and cold blend for a transom or cockpit shower, and the handle sits down inside the cup instead of standing out from the hull. The stainless steel valve holds up to salt spray where it is mounted.

White blends in with white gelcoat on most transoms and cockpit panels, so the valve does not draw the eye. Transom showers get used every time someone climbs back aboard, and adjusting the temperature right at the stern is a real comfort. With the handle inside the cup, the panel stays clean and smooth.

Installation takes a 2.75-inch hole, with 1/2-inch NPS female fittings for the supply lines. Route the lines so they cannot chafe against hull edges, use marine-rated hose clamps, and seal around the cup to keep water out of the transom. If your trim is dark, the black cup version is the better match, and you can find it in our faucets, showers & sinks.
