Scandvik SS Recessed T-Handle Mixing Valve, Black Cup

The Scandvik Stainless Steel Recessed T-Handle Mixing Valve with a black cup sets the water temperature for a transom or cockpit shower. The T-handle sits inside a recessed cup, so nothing sticks out to catch a line, a leg, or a fishing rod. The valve itself is stainless steel, which stands up to salt spray in an exposed location.

Recessed mixing valves are popular on center consoles and walkaround boats because the panel stays smooth. Mixing hot and cold right at the transom gives a comfortable rinse after a swim. The black cup suits boats with dark trim or black hardware.

It mounts in a 2.75-inch hole and connects with 1/2-inch NPS female fittings, so make sure there is room behind the panel for the valve and both lines. Route the supply lines so they cannot chafe inside the hull, and seal the cup flange with marine sealant. A white cup version is also available, along with showers to pair with it, in our faucets, showers & sinks.
