Scandvik Ceramic Angled Washdown Valve, SS Spigot

The Scandvik Ceramic Angled Washdown Valve with SS Spigot gives you a washdown point on a bulkhead or in a cockpit. The angled spigot directs water down and away from the mounting surface instead of straight back at the bulkhead. The valve is ceramic, and the spigot is stainless steel for exposed cockpit use.

A washdown valve on the cockpit bulkhead lets you rinse fish blood, bait, and salt off the deck without running a hose from the bow. Ceramic valves turn on and off cleanly and resist wear far better than washer-type valves. They also take less effort to turn when your hands are wet, cold, or covered in fish slime. The angled design also makes it easier to fill a bucket.

It surface mounts with three #6 screws and connects with a 1/2-inch NPT female thread, so no large hole is needed in the bulkhead. Install it where the water will drain toward the scuppers, and check the connection behind the bulkhead for leaks once the pump is running.
