Scandvik Stainless Steel Washdown Spigot

The Scandvik Stainless Steel Washdown Spigot is a through-mount spigot for a cockpit, anchor locker, or transom washdown point. It is made from 316 stainless steel, the marine grade with added molybdenum for better resistance to salt water than standard 304 stainless. That makes it the right choice for an exposed spot that sees spray every trip.

A permanent washdown spigot lets you rinse mud off the anchor, wash down the deck, or clean the fish box without dragging a hose through the boat. The through-mount design keeps the spigot tight against the panel. It connects with a 1/2-inch NPS male threaded shaft. Its compact size fits small panels and lockers where a larger fitting would crowd the space.

It mounts through a 1-inch hole, so check the panel thickness and the space behind it for the supply connection. Seal the hole with marine sealant to protect the core, check the connection for leaks, and rinse the spigot with fresh water to prevent salt buildup.
