The Roper Tumble Weed has a 2.5-inch satin carbon steel clip point blade in an acrylic handle with Southwest artwork and an inlay shield, closing to 3.5 inches with a lockback.

Carbon steel takes a keener edge than stainless and resharpens with less effort, developing a patina that most owners of a carbon traditional treat as part of the knife rather than a fault. The Southwest artwork sits inside the acrylic rather than on it, so pocket carry cannot wear it off.

A lockback secures the blade with a spine-mounted release, simple enough that there is very little to fail. At 3.5 inches closed this is a compact single-blade folder that disappears in a pocket.
