The Roper Pecos Linerlock has a 3-inch satin carbon steel clip point blade, a yellow smooth synthetic handle with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 4 inches.

Roper builds mostly traditional slip joints, and this is the same house style put on a modern frame: a liner lock, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, with the bolsters and inlay shield kept from the traditional side. Carbon steel is the other traditional holdover. It takes a keener edge than stainless and comes back faster on a stone, developing a patina with use.
