Description
The Roper Pecos Large Toothpick has a satin carbon steel long clip blade in a yellow smooth Delrin handle with stainless bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4 inches.
The toothpick takes its name from the slim, tapering silhouette, and the long clip runs almost the whole blade to leave a fine narrow point that reaches into work a broad blade cannot. Carbon steel takes a keener edge than stainless and comes back faster on a stone, developing a patina that most owners of a carbon traditional treat as part of the knife.
Yellow Delrin resists cracking and moisture where bone would eventually move, and a bright handle is far easier to find if set down in grass. The blade opens on a nail nick, held by a slip joint where spring tension stands in for a locking bar. Explore more Toothpick Knives.
